The first half of the year has sprinted away and here are some shots of a scenery double header where I played What a Tanker and then a Horse and Musket action

I recognise a lot of those buildings! 🙂 Sounds like you enjoyed it and getting a second game out of it’s good! Might just be my eyesight, but the Panther looks like a King Tiger to me!

Hi John, thanks, I have noticed I like reading other blog posts when the table is flooded with buildings to game around- so a double game was excellent, as regards German armour you are probably right – I find late war German kit too overpowering to be interesting- just great hunks of metal 😂

Thanks for the shout out!
Looks like a somewhat one sided game!

Thanks – your blog is certainly one to recommend, for some reason I like the challenge of under powered armour, which is just as well 😀

Some of those buildings are very nostalgic, right down to the bright yellow thatch! 🙂

Yes Chris, definitely yesteryear! I was in Dorset recently and dull grey white brown thatch washed out colour was all to see yet very tidy like the airfix model.
