Well this year has seen the warmest summer on record and for that matter an unprecedented period of dry weather.
Sunsets though have been a bit of a miss as have cloudscapes – all that blue sky means you can’t have everything.

This Winter was wet and is now dry – it has been sometimes cold but the overwhelming feeling is it is another mild winter – famous last words, as Spring is not yet with us and it can still snow and freeze well into April………

2023 like 2022 seems to have been richer for its sunrise and sunsets.

Frosty Morning – I found this particular sunrise “developed” an interesting image on my window.





A lucky break to see a superb bird like a Sparrowhawk only a few feet away sat on a branch preening itself………









goodbye small but deadly sparrowhawk. Enjoy what nature can offer this time of year.
