Intermissions have been thin on the ground this year. Perversely the awful weather has meant more time indoors – war gaming.

There are some lovely photos there. I never cease to be amazed at the colours appearing in the skies.
I was at Sandal castle earlier in the year, got lots of photos but none as dramatic as yours!

Thanks John – yes the museum always rewards in some way – prompted me to remember 1840’s Denmark had railways…..
